The gardens at Dyffryn are currently being restored to their full Edwardian glory thanks to a Heritage Lottery Fund grant of £6.15 million. The work is due to be completed by summer 2005.

Grade 1 listed, the gardens already boast a number of interesting features like the arboretum, garden rooms and formal lawns.

The gardens are well geared up for the visitor with tea rooms serving light snacks and a shop selling plants, horticultural items and souvenirs. There is a programme of events throughout the summer, available on request from the gardens.
